Darren Skidmore – Operations Director
Darren represents the third generation of the Skidmore family and has played a key role in establishing
the company as one of the UK’s leading commercial landscape contractors. Drawing on his extensive
knowledge of construction and business management, he oversees the company’s operations, training
and logistics, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety while driving the adoption of new
technologies and best practice in the delivery of complex landscape and roof deck construction projects.
Sue Geeves (Skidmore) – Finance Director
Sue Geeves joined Skidmore’s in 2005 as Finance Director, bringing extensive financial and accounting
experience together with MAAT and CIMA qualifications. She has been instrumental in strengthening
the company’s financial resilience, supporting its growth into larger and more complex projects while
enabling investment in new offices, vehicles and equipment. Through strong financial governance,
collaborative relationships with clients and suppliers, and a proactive approach to communication, Sue
has helped establish the stable financial platform that has enabled the business to navigate challenging
economic conditions and achieve sustainable long-term growth.
Kyle Gray – Commercial Manager
Kyle is a member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture with over ten years of experience in the
design, management and construction of commercial landscapes. He leads the development of new
technologies for cost analysis and project management at Skidmore’s and has been instrumental in
advancing modular landscape construction techniques for complex roof deck projects. Responsible for
surveying, estimating and bid management, Kyle plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered
efficiently, on time and within budget.
